Abstract

Nurses’ spiritual well-being directly influenced by religious belief that likely to improve caring behavior and quality of work life. Aim of the study: Investigate the relation between spiritual well-being with quality of work life and caring behavior among nurses at Oncology Center- Mansoura University. Subjects and methods: Descriptive correlational study design was conducted with a convenient sample (180) staff nurses at Oncology Center- Mansoura University Data was collected by using three tools as, Spiritual Well-Being Scale, Quality of Work Life Questionnaire and Caring Behaviors Inventory. Results: Majority of staff nurses were satisfied level about total spiritual well-being, slightly near to half of staff nurses have high level about quality of work life and more than half of studied nurses have good level of caring behavior. In addition, there was highly statistically significant positive correlations were found between total spiritual well-being scores and both total quality of work life and total caring behavior. Conclusions: Spiritual well-being improve nurses’ quality of work life and caring behavior
