Abstract The complex formation of copper, cobalt and nichel ions with some hydrazine derivatives has been studied in aqueous and ethanolic media. the hydrazine derivatives used as ligands were formyl, diformyl, acyl, diacyl and diacylsuccinylhydrazine . Spectral studies in the ultraviolet and the visible regions were carried out for the ligands with Cu)II)Co(II) and Ni(II) ions in aqueous and ethanolic solutions. the stoichiometries of the complexes were determined by well known spectrophotometric methods which gave evidance for the presence of stable complexes in solution formed in simple ratios. |
