Abstract
The objective of this study was to carry out a careful autecological and phytochemical investigation on Kochia indica. It is an annual wild plant belonging to family Chenopodiaceae, inhabiting the Nile Delta, along the Mediteranean Coastal land and in Kharga Oasis. Four selected spots including the calcareous land of the drainage drians of the area between Mansoura and Damietta, and different stands in Mansoura district.
