Abstract
In this thesis, the author applied the geoelectric resistivity and the magnetic prospecting methods for archaeoprospection at the area of Tell El Roubaa. This site is located at the eastern side of Dameitta Nile branch for about 20 Km southeast of El - Mansoura city. However, it comprises an archaeological site of the Pharaonic families named Tell Mendis referring in it‘s name to the Mendsian River Nile branch. This Tell is characterized by few excavated tunnls, while the majority of the area still not excavated. The relative geographical location of the Tell with respect to the banks of Mendsian branch was discussed by the old geographers and historians, among them Herodotus (425 B.C.) and Strabou (63 B.C.).
