Abstract
The present study aims to mapping the groundwater aquifers, delineating the lithofacies distribution, the structural foundations and studying the characteristics of the groundwater in Saqqara archaeological area, that lies between Latitudes 29 50 and 29 55 N, and Longitudes 31 10 and 31 15 E. This work depends on the field surveys carried out at this area by Geoelectrical Resistivity (GER) and Transient Electromagnetic (TEM) methods followed by geochemical analysis for some water samples collected from the study area.
