Abstract
The study area of El - Gedida mine is located in the northeastern plateau of El - Bahariya depression between latitudes 28° 25’ 38” and 28° 27’ 43” N and longitudes 29° 9 18” and 29° 12’ 30” E. It is far about 330 km southwest of Cairo and about 190 km west of the Nile valley and 40 km northeast of El - Bawiti City, the capital of Bahariya Oasis. However, it is connected with the iron and steel Mills of Helwan by a railway line of 346 km long.
