Abstract
The first chapter deals with question of propagation of the CW single - mode He3 - Ne20 laser beam at 6328A as it is found necessary to perform the experiments followed in chapter II on scattering to control the divergence of the radiation emitted and render it collimated at will. The effect of introducing a single lens and two lenses in the passage of the CW laser beam used has been investigated and the condition for collimation is confirmed experimentally using theoretical equations by previous authors.
