Abstract
The main object of this work is the construction of an apparatus for tthe production of shock waves in the plasma to study the physical properties of shock waves and the factors affecting its production and propagation parallel to the magnetic field. This work investigate the structure of collisionless shock waves in magnetic field. Experiments were carried out in the installation shown in (chapter 3). A glass tube (10 cm diameter, 50 cm long) was placed into quasi - stationary magnetic field, its strength B1 varying from 0 to 1 K.oes.
