Abstract

This study was conducted to evaluate the magnetic resonance imaging in the diagnosis of internal turmoil of the mandibular joint and compared with one - dimensional scans .
Learn disorders it is inappropriate relationship between and the head of the joint cartilage and bone jutting hinge.
Examination must include disorders history , examination and diagnosis radiotherapy .
This study was conducted on 12 patients of the applicants to the clinic of Foreign Affairs of the Department of Oral Surgery , Faculty of Dentistry , Mansoura University, they suffer from the symptoms and signs suggestive Bjrdd disorders in detail the lower jaw, have been examined and these patients are all clinically been the work of both scan one-dimensional and magnetic resonance imaging on Articulated in the cases of jaw opening and closing the mouth.
The first step in effective treatment for joint disease is accuracy Alenti_khis for the study have shown that magnetic resonance imaging of the most accurate diagnostic tools for internal unrest injuries to the lower jaw joint , where it has given clear information and important a quick and practical way not available for one - dimensional X-Ray .
Magnetic resonance to scan Aistaml and it does not damage the patient or a pregnant woman or the fetus.
Is distinguished from the rest of the other radioactive devices that rely on X-rays, such as tomography device programmed so that the human body not exposed to side effects resulting from ionizing X-rays .
Warns the use of a resonance for heart patients who have pacemakers , where the magnetic field alters the structured programming may expose the patient to significant health problems .
The study concluded the following: -
- MRI gave additional information have not had rays through one-dimensional .
- Magnetic resonance clear advantage in the patient ’s exposure to rays and so if compared to the one - dimensional radiotherapy .
- The use of computers in the formation of magnetic resonance image has made the choice of image and zoom concerned easy .
- The accuracy of the information obtained through magnetic resonance makes treatment fast , accurate and successful.
- MRI is considered an influential effective way to identify and describe the internal turmoil .
