Abstract
This work is conducted on 20 women selected from 100 cases complaining of recurrent spontanous abortions by exclusion of the common causes of recurrent abortion by full gynaecological examination & investigation and the assay of FSH & LH, Toxoplasma, VDRL, random blood sugar and serum creatmme.~ The 20 URA women aged from 19 to 39 years old, 10 normal pregnant as well as 10 non pregnant women with matched age as control groups are selected from GYnaecologY, Obstetrics and Antenatal Care Departments of Mansoura University Hospital. The 20 URA women as well as the pregnant control are classified into I st and 2nd trimester according to stage of abortion and pregnancy respectively. Both patients and controls are subjected to the following investigations: A) Haemostatic tests including: I- Platelet count. 2- Bleeding time (BT). 3- Prothrombin time (PT). 4- Activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT).
