Abstract
This study was carried out on 30 normal subjects (normal control) and 78 patients suffering from nasal allergy, (4-8 had allergic rhinitis without polypi and 30 had allergic rhinitis with nasal polypi). Out of these,1 19 patients suffered from asthmatic bronchities as well, having nasal polypi or not. 2- As regards age incidence, patients with polypi were significantly older than those without polypi. But sex and family history waB obviously insigni¬ficant as a difference between the allergic groups. 3- Bronchial asthma incidence was more marked among the allergic cases with polypi. 4- The clinical index showed a high significant increas( among the allergic cases with polypi. 5" ~ " Bosidc the proper routine and laboratory investiga¬tions, the following estimations were made for the controls and the allergic patients : a) Absolute blood eosinophilic count/c,mm. b) Serum sodium and potassium concentrations in niEq/L.
