Abstract

The adhesive molecules represent the adhesive receptors that participate in leukocytes interactions within the immune system as well as within endothelium. Serum ICAM-I is one type of immunoglobulin superfamily ”CAM” and it is found that it highly expressed on neoplastie cells and has adisintet correlation to clinical and biological behaviours on haematopietic malignancies (Inghirami et al., 1988). The aim of this study 1- Evaluate serum ICAM-I in patients with Hodgkin tymphoma and Non-hodgkin tymphoma. 2- Correlate serum ICAM-I in tymphomas patients with clinical stage, pathological types and hematological parameters. * The patients in this study included 29 patients suffering from malignant tymphoma out of them 16 patients were subject as NHL and 13 patients were sub sect as HL. Those besided 10 normal persons of matched age and sex were taken as control group. * The patients . were subsected to through history taken clinical examination and the following investigations. A- Hematological investigations : H6 0/0, RBCS count, WBCS count, platelet count and E.S.R.
