Abstract
This study was carried out with the aim of finding out what would rease or decrease the probability of recovery and relapse in patients with [or depression. Although our emphasis was on the psychosocial factors, t, some demographic and clinical aspects were also taken in consideration. The theoretical part of the thesis, started with shedding a light on the ent nosological disciplines of depression, followed by detailed resentation of what concern the course and outcome of the disease with .. ecial reference to therapy resistant and chronic kinds of depression. urther on, we have mentioned the different factors that are suggested to uence the course and outcome of the disease with the presentation of the by-product of a lot of researches that have dealt with this issue.
