Abstract
94 The senescence is a process making the elderly individual more suscept i ble to many changes in the eye lids Hccracen.. 1985), The lids of the elderly individual may show changes in the skin such as 1055 of skin elasticity, pufriness and folds of the Lipper lids giving what we call blepharochalasis. The senescence af the eye may appear as changes in the lid position as : senile ptosis, entropion and ectropion other changes that may occur in the eyelids of senile persons are : C5 and tumors of lids, pigmented spots and freckles and also some changes in the eyelashes as Fubbing lashes, tricniss Lc , Polldsis and madaros Ls (Kornie,1972), This study has been carried out to examine every IndiVIdual attending the Dutpatient clinic Mansoura University Hospital with age above 40 years and assess the different changes that occur in the eyelid due to the process of aging.
