Abstract Adhesion molecules appear to playa central role in immune response. Recently ELISA could prove the existence of soluble forms in serum. They seem to be good markers of endothelial damage. Identification of soluble forms of many of these molecules provide the potential for further clinical study of their role in investigation, diagnosis and therapeutic monitoring of parasitic infections. This case -control study was carried out on 160 patients with different parasitic infections attending outpatient and inpatient clinic of the Tropical Medicine Unit, Mansoura University Hospital, in addition to 14 healthy control. The patients w.ere classified into 9 groups according to type of parasitic infections and 10th group was the control group. :’ Group I : cases of toxoplasmosis. Group n : cases of fascioliasis .
