Abstract
This work was constructed to establish Egyptian growth charts . 8024 subjects were enrolled in this cross-sectional study (4095 male and 3929 female) whose age ranges from 0.8 to 15 years. According to residence 4767 were from urban areas and 3257 from rural ar,eas . They mainly represent North Egyptian population, they represent different socioeconomic standards. ALL SUBJECTS WERE SUBJECTED TO:- 1-Hitory taking and clinical examination to exclude significant illness which may affect growth. 2-Anthropometric measurements done according to the instructions of JM. Tanner (Tanner et ol., 1966),(Tm1l1er, 1984), F.Fnlkncr (Falkner, 1972), and N. Cameron (Cameron, 1986). A- Body weight in kg.
