Abstract
The feasible direction method is the latest method for solving the linear and quadratic programming problems, Although this method was introduced by Zoutenijk in 1960, it is not applied on a large scale and we did not find in any literature what shows that it has been used on the computer. It is mentioned, however, when considering the means of solving the non - linear programming problems, and its application in this field is perhaps explained on small numberical examples.
