Abstract
The present thesis is decoted to throw some light on a special type of Markov chains. Two alternative approaches, via elementary matrix theory , are given to determine explicit expressions for the probability generating functions. Explicit expressions for the probability distribution, as well as the expected value of the occupation total for any position J and the probabilities of absorption, are formulated. Our results are generalization of several well known recently results of Markov chains.
