Abstract Wilt diseases of exportable cucurbits crops especially watermelon and cantaloupe, consider one the main restrictions in these crop production . This study aimed to find non<U+2013>chemical alternatives to control such important diseases to produce clean product to export and the best application method with these alternatives. The tested treatment was as follows 1 Antagonistic fungi (Trichoderma viride, T. harzianum, T. hamatum, Gliocladium virens and G. roseum.) 2 Antagonistic Bacteria (Bacillus subtilis, Pseudomonas fluorescens and Streptomyses griseoviridis) 3 Essential oils (Mint, Clove, Cumin, Cinnamon, and Garlic ) 4 Biofertilizers (Netrobien, Phosphorien, Biogien , and Microbien) 5 Use resistant varieties The study was done on three levels (Laboratory level, Greenhouse level and under field conditions). All the tested alternatives gave promising results in reducing disease incidence under greenhouse conditions. |
