Abstract
Aim of the work: The essay try to highlight the area of etiology of Autism to explain how this disorder occure and to know if there`s a consensus about the definition, numuclature, diagnosis and etiology of this disorder. Contents: Part I: General background of Autism (Historical review Diagnosis Management). Part II: 5 chapters including Etiological factors: Genetic Immunological psychosocial Medical disorders associated with autism Neurobiology of autism. Conclusion: there`s no one etiological factor known till now to cause all cases of autism but it?s multiple factors that may interact with each other.
