Abstract Field experiments were carried out to differentiate between two types of land levelling scraper at sugar factory farm at Kom Ombo, Aswan Governorate ( as a clayey soil ) in agricultural season 2004, to evaluate the performance of modified LASER and compare its performance with the produced ordinary LASER scraper. The objectives of the present research may be summarized as follows: 1. Constructing a modified landlevelling scraper to be used in LASER land levelling in Egyptian farms. 2. Comparing the performance of the modified landlevelling scraper with the LASER scraper was done taking into consideration both accuracy and efficiency. 3. Comparing the modified LASER landlevelling scraper with ordinary one was done from the cost point of view. The experimental area was about 8 feddans divided into 4 plots ( 2 feddans each). The high power tractor ( New Holand 11090, 78.2 kW ) was operated with the four experimented plots with Eagle 3system transmeter, and ordinary laser scraper at two plot, and modified laser scraper at the others. |
