Abstract Blood transfusion is a common and widespread therapeutic appropriate need exists. blood recipients are at constant risk of acquiring viral infections due to multiple risk factors such as I.V. injections, operations blood transfusion, hospital surroundings and several environmental factors. This study was designed in order to assess the prevalence of viral markers among blood recipients and to attempt to determine different risk factors. |
