Abstract The term tennis elbow designates a clinical syndrome characterised by pain and local tenderness in the region of the lateral epicondyle of the humerus. However, the name (tennis elbow) is not a proper term, because, among those who suffer from this coonrod & hooper, 1973). Never-theless, this is propaly the most commonly used name, though in the literature the synonyms epicondylitis, rediohumoral bursitis, epicondylalgia may also be found. |
