Abstract
The aim of this thesis is to study mangnetohydro dynamic stability of force-free fields in closed toroidal geometry.
The thesis consist of three chapters.
Chapter I is a general introduction including the existence and properties of force-free fields, particularly when the ratio of the magneic field to current density is constant.
