Abstract
This thesis contains three main chapters :The first chapter : Deals with the literature survey . The second chapter : Deals with the chemical composition of C-steel , the experiment part which includes , preparation of used materials . The third chapter : Deals with the results obtained and their discussion under two separated sections : Section A : Contains the results of weight loss measurements for C- steel in 2 M HCL solution in presence and absence some of drugs . The results revealed that the inhibition efficiency of these compounds increases with increasing the concentrations of these compounds and decreased with increasing the Temperature , It is observed that the inhibition efficiency of these drugs increases by using of some anions such as iodid , bromid , thiocyanate and these compounds was found to obey Temkin adsorption isotherm .Section B : Contains the results of galvanostatic polarization . It was found that these compounds are mixed-type inhibitors and influence both cathodic and anodic processes .The inhibition efficiency of these compounds was found to increase with increasing the concentration of these compounds .The results obtained from two techniques are in good agreement.This indicates the validity of the obtained results .
