المستخلص This study aimed at Finding out the effect of the interaction between the attitude towards electronic learning (e – learning) and the levels of information Processing on the academic achievement. The sample of the pilot study consisted of (676) students, whereas the main sample consisted of (883) from both genders (male- female) of the colleges of Mansoura University ( Education , Engineering , Medicine and Computer Sciences ). These two samples were divided according to the type of the (e – learning) utilization ( synchronized – nonsynchronized and away of the educational system ). The instruments of the study included the following: th (e – learning) utilization scale, the scale of the attitudes towards electronic learning which had two domains ( the utility and importance of using e – learning, the desire and love of using (e – learning). ; the scale of the levels of using electronic learning and the (e – learning) anxiety ; the scale of the levels of the information processing ( shallow – moderate – deep )., and the personal data form of students was used concerning how the students use the electronic learning. The most outstanding results of the study were the following: there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the students in the different colleges as they could be ordered as follows (computer sciences, engineering, Medicine in the same rank then the college of Education). As well the(e – learning) anxiety increases at the female students’ part more than the male student. Also, there were statistically significant differences among the students of the different colleges in the domain of love and desire to use the electronic learning. there was a significant effect of the interaction mean scores of the domain of love ant desire to use the mean scores of the male students in the college of computer sciences. In addition , there was a significant effect of the levels of the (e – learning) utilization ( high – moderate – low ). Thus , the (e – learning) anxiety decreases and both its utility and importance as well as the love and desire to use it rises high with the rise of the level of utilization . It was found that the more the use of the electronic learning was out of a free derive without restricting it to the educational system , the more its utility and importance as well as the love and desire to use it increases. Also, There was a significant effect of the interaction between ( level of utilization and type of utilization) in the mean scores of the domain of utility in favor of the mean scores of the electronic learning. It was, also, found that with the increase of the levels of the electronic learning at the students’ side their processing of information becomes higher ( between moderate and deep ). On the other hand, the level of attitudes towards (e – learning) and the level of information processing had no significant effect on the academic achievement of the student, . But, there was a significant effect on the utilization level of processing on the academic achievement in favor of the deep processing moderate using group of electronic learning. |
