Abstract
The present study was carried out at the farm and biotechnology laboratory of Rice Research and Training Center (RRTC) Sakha, Kafr EL-Sheikh, Egypt. During the three successive growing seasons of 2005, 2006 and 2007.The genetic material used in these investigations involved three cytoplasm male sterile lines CMS.these lines were IR58025A, IR69025A andIR70368A and three Egyptian restorer linesViz.,Giza178R,Giza181R and Giza182R were used as testers. These lines were crossed according to line X tester mating design.
The goals of this study are
1-to study the stability of inbred and hybrid rice under different temperature condition at seedling stages,
2-to study the genetic analyses and correlation of grain characteristics, and its Zn and Fe content on seedling vigor
3-to study the biochemical markers of rice seedlings under different temperature regimes,
4-to evaluate the inbred and hybrid rice for yield and its components.
