Abstract T.vaginalis is chiefly a disease of the reproductive years. The most common pathogen of yeast vaginitis is candida albicans , which accounts for 80% of infections. Bacterial vaginitis is a complex ploymicrobical infection characterized by loss of normal vaginal flora, it is easily the most common cause of vaginitis, accounting for about 50% of cases. It was found that the major percentage was infected with bacterial vaginosis next with candidiasis and lastly with Trichomonas . The commonest age in T.vaginalis , C. albicans and other microbes were concomitant in age group 20 – 30 years. The concomitant infection with T.vaginalis alone was less than T.vaginalis + candida which was also less than T.vaginalis and other microbes. |
