This study aims to identify the degree to which the Egyptian public on Arab news channels represented in the private satellite channels and its relation to the credibility of the official Egyptian television, and through a survey of
a sample of the general public in the governorates of Minia and Cairo, with
a random sample totaled 400 single.
The results of the study to a statistically significant negative relationship between the Dependency of a sample search on the Arab news channels and the degree of credibility with the Egyptian TV, and this means that the greater the degree to which a sample search on the Arab satellite news I degree of credibility with the Egyptian TV, as evidenced by the presence of a positive function statistically between the Dependency of the public on Arab news channels and credibility as a source of news, there are also statistically significant positive relationship between the Dependency of the public on Egyptian television and the credibility of a source of news.
In terms of channels, which has a high degree of credibility with the Egyptian Audience News Channel Al-Jazeera came in first place in the event that the public for the conflicting reports about what happened, and if the need for information about it hard for them to understand inside and outside Egypt, followed by the first channel and Channel Egypt Egyptian news came in the fourth Al-Arabiya.
