Abstract
Ecological studies and control experiments were carried out of scale insects infesting fruit trees and ornamental in calcareous soil Burj Al Arab region in order to get the changes that occur in the population density of these insects to choose the best appointments for treatment chemicals .
The study lasted for three years 1969-1971 and summarized the results that could be reached within us the following: -
First: Environmental Studies : This section includes studies on the seasonal activity of the different types of cortical Entomologist infesting olive and fig trees , as well as the number of generations and the spread of these insects throughout the year in the area of the Burj Al Arab .
The recorded changes in the environmental conditions in this region during the study period , especially the changes in temperature and relative humidity and rainfall and wind speed . The field studies were conducted in two farms of olive and fig .
1) Farm Olive : Olive found that insect species cortical more prevalent in the region, as well as insect plum cortical activity has been studied for these seasonal Alhchertan Achammlaly the olive trees and the sampling record for an entire year.
