Abstract
A study on production traits was carried out on the rabbit flook of the faculty of agriculture experimental station, university of mansoura. Observation were taken o0n body weight at 45,60, 75,and 105 days of age,.. body measurements at 45,60,75,90,105 and 120 days of age, feed efficiency fram weaning at 30 days to 105 days of age, dressing out percentage at five and nine months of age and chemical composition of usles caracase at 9 months of age. The present study lasted for three consective production season 1975 / 1978, in the two seasons 1975/1977 only the two purebreds and progeny were under investigation while in 1977/1978the two puerbrods and their reciprocal crossbreds were used the data were analysed by the method of the analysis of variance. The results were discussed and the main concusions are summarized as follows.
1-There were insignificant differences in body weight between w. b. and b. at 45,60 and 105 days of age.
2-at 45 days of age the cress bred w. b. x. b. excelledall population on body weight and showed hetrosis percent of 10.4.
