Abstract
This study was made to evaluate the treatment of class I crowding using TransForce lingual appliance. The study consisted of ten female patients. The patients’ age ranged from 12-14 years. They were chosen from the outpatient clinic of the Orthodontic Department, Faculty of Dentistry, Mansoura University. These patients will be treated with TransForce lingual appliance as part of their comprehensive orthodontic treatment.Ten female patients were comprised the sample of the present study. Their age range from 12 to 14 years old. They were chosen from the outpatient clinic of the orthodontic department, faculty of dentistry, mansoura university. A study cast and lateral cephalometric x-ray were taken for each patient. After analyzing the data, the following conclusion could be derived: 1- Cephalometric data: Wits appraisal increased, Sn^GoGn increased, inter-incisive angle decreased, SNB decreased, upper incisor NA angle increased. 2- Cast data: Arch perimeter increased by 3.8 mm, arch depth increased 2mm, upper intercanine width decreased by 0.3 mm, upper interfirst premolar width increased by 2.9 mm, upper intersecond premolar width increased by 2.9 mm and upper interfirst molar increased by 2.1 mm.
