Abstract This work was carried out on potato varieties. Lady Rosetta Herms and Diamont at kazazein village in Damietta GV It aimed to study the effects of three levels of nitrogen 60, 120, 180KgN/fed, phosphorus (30,45 and 60 P2Os /fed.) and potassium (24, 48 and 72 Kg K20/fed.) on the performance, yield, quality of tubers and the quality of processing of summer season crop. The results were as follows : 1) Planting needed high p and k levels. The highest fresh weight of foliage was obtained from 120KgN+60KgP,O,+ 72KgK20 in all varieties . 2) The dry weight of the foliage followed the same previous trend of the respective fresh weigh in all varieties. 3) Tubers showed high need for phosphorus and potassium. The highest dry weight of tubers was obtained from 120KgN+60KgP,O,+72KgK20. 4) The highest tuber yield was obtained from fertilizing by 120KgN+60KgK20. 11.25ton/fed. 5) High nitrogen produced smaller tubers. |
