Abstract
In the present work geological and detail geophysical studies were carried out to shed more light on the hydrogeological conditions of the area. This detailed geophysical exploration includes magnetic and resistivity sounding measurements. In the resistivity field measurments, the vertical sounding with schlumberger array and horizontal resistivity profiling using Wenner array have been applied along the wadies cutting the area of study. These wadies are grouped in the following areas : West Nuweiba, South Nuweiba, Dahab and Kid areas. A ninety - nine soundings have been measured along these wadies, with maximum current electrode seperation (AB) of 800 - 2000 m.
