Abstract
Noise is often defined as unwanted sound. It may be sound produced by an aircrafts, vehicles, etc. Generally, noise problem consists of three inter-related elements: the source, the receiver and atmosphere through which the sound is propagated, but can include the structural materials of any building containing the receiver, Throughout this study and the carried out measurements, it found that the highways and the main streets are the main source of the noise pollution. In some cases, the noises level was affected by the surrounding factors such as the students in the schools or the patients in the hospitals. In this study, the noises level has been measured at different regions of Kuwait state and the sources of those noises have been defined to overcome this problem or reduce it in which that is the main aim (goal) of the study. By doing so, I decided to measure the noise level in different places of the State of Kuwait in an attempt to reach what can be done to reduce the noise pollution and to avoid problems. As a result of this research, the most obtained results were as was expected, On the other side, some of results were contrary the expected ones. For example, the noises level produced from the high class cafes was higher than that produced from the popular cafes. This may be due to the surrounding factors stakeholder those places.
