Abstract The distribution of the absolute thermal (sub-cadmium) and epithermal epicadmium neutron fluxes in the four vertical wet irradiation channels(VWIC) of the ET-RR-1 reactor is useful for the isotope production and NNA programs. For this purpose, the cadmium difference method was applied. By this technique, the absolute thermal and epithermal neutron flux values were determined at full reactor power (2MW) by using 16 pairs of thin gold foil activation detectors with and without cadmium cover. |
