Developing countries in general including Arab Republic of Egypt suffer from several food problems. Most of them are mal-nutrition in general and lack of Protein in particular. As milk and milk products are considered of the most important sources of animal protein because of its easy digestion and its cheep price, So its shortage considered one of the cause. leading to the increase of children depth percentage in their early years in addition to the spread of mal-nutrition diseases. The per capita consumption of milk is considered very low compared with that of other countries. this share is a but 42 K.G. Per year, and is about 223,221,289 K.G. per year in England, Denmark. and United States of America respectively. Animal introduction plays an important role in the Egypt10n agriculture economy. This is a fact because of it represents about 22.5% of the Egyption Agricultural national income in 1979. Milk and milk products are a major items of animal prDakahlia governorate. It represents about 40.6% of total real value of animal and about 9.6% of the total real value of agriculture production in Dakahlia governorate in 1979.
