المستخلص Professor Alexandar Bala is known as a specialist professor in Diwani literature where he did a lot of research and studies on this literature until he was called the loving man of Diwani poetry in the public Turkish areas . That poetry which disappeared and vanished by the western movements calling to go to the west and eradicating the roots and culture of Turkish poetry . Hence came the idea of his novel “ Death in Babylon and love in Istanbul “ so as to revive the heritage and resurrect it again in a modern shape . The novel was his first one of the writer which has won the prize for the best novel in 2003 . Its events started from the opening of Baghdad city by Sultan ottoman Suleiman Elkanuny , which coincided with the going of the poet “ Fuzuli” to the science library in Baghdad to do research on his new book . The librarian there gave him a dagger on which there was a group of codes related to the secrets of the scientific group of Babylon and the treasures of the kings of Babylon . He also asked him to maintain it as his life . When “Fuzuli” started to write Masnevi “Leila and the crazy man “ , He put these codes in order with in the verses and then Masnevi became a target of the scientific group of Babylon and treasure thieves . Masnevi after that toured everywhere over the ottoman Empire to the east and west , in hands of kings , in hands of slaves , in hands of poets , in hands of scientists , in hands of thieves . And eventually the German archaeologist “ Coldowy ” could break the Masnevi codes and then placed inside walls of a dark library . |
