Abstract

This thesis comprises four main Chapters: The first chaper contains a literature seurvey included the importance and structural chemistry of polymer compounds and their complexes The second chapter studies novel polymer complexes of copper(II), palladium(II), platinum(II) and cadmium(II) containing homopolymer[4-acrylamido benzene sulphonyl guanidine; (HL)] The third chapter studies the preparation of polymer complexes of p-acrylamidyl sulphaguanidine (HL) with Ni(II), Fe(II) and Pd(II) salts. The fourth chapter shows the preparation of N-[2-(6-aminopyridino)] acrylamide ligand (APA) via amidation of 2,6- diaminopyridine with acryloyl chloride in dry benzene as solvent. Metal polymer complexes of ATA with Cu(II), Ca(II),Ni(II), Cd(II) chlorides .
