Abstract
In the present work a new class of thiouracil derivatives, namely -NH₂, -CH₃, -H, - OH, -CF₃, and ph, all in 6-position as a firsrt group compound; as well as uracil and 6-OH uracil as a second group compound has been tested as possible corrosion inhibitors for C-steel in 1 M sulphuric acid solution.
