Abstract

Job satisfaction and organizational commitment among nurses have long been recognized as a crucial indicator of nurses’ performance cost saving and quality of patient care . As nurses’ job satisfaction decreases the likelihood of leaving their employment settings increases . If nurses’ job satisfaction and commitment continues to deteriorate the present nursing shortage will worsen.
