Abstract Stroke is an important health problem and can affect any part of the brain. Clinically it is known that, signs and symptoms depend greatly on the site of the lesion in the brain. Patients are usually presented by a variety of physical and mental disturabance; the mental changes that may be kept beyound the acuty of the illness includes confusion, disorientation and memory impairment. Sleep is another mental activity that could be affected during and after C.V.disorder.The aim of this work is to study the effect of cerebrovascular disorder on the hypothalamic function, represented by patterns of sleep related prolactin and cortisol secretion. |
