Abstract The present study was conducted to investigate the effectiveness of a suggested in-service training program to develop some basic pronunciation skills of non-specialist primary school EFL teachers. These non-specialist teachers are graduates of the Faculty of Arts, Philosophy department, Geography department and Sociology one. The impact of the program on the study sample of non-specialist was investigated III regard to their original area of specialty, that is, philosophy, geography or sociology. This means that their university background of the English language was also taken into consideration. |
