Abstract
Serotonin plays an important phisiologioal rule in the function af many ayrjBems in the body such as the nervous, ua.sdiovascular, respiratory, digestive and urinary systems, The present study was designed to emluate the effects of some jslLaiational anaesthetics (diethyl ether, halothane, tricuoroetbylena and chloroform) on serotonb level in the brain, bloodp kidney and small Intestiae of the experbental animals (rabbits), The habbits were divided into 5 pups , the fimf group (8 rabb3.t~) wss the control group, whiah was not subjected to anaeethesla. The another 4 -groups were subjected to jlnhalational anaesthetics at the two stages (excitatory and surgical), each gmup include S4 mbb%ts.
