Abstract
Maize grain, is being used by the Egyptian farmer for ba. kinqbread, Therefore, maize constitute an important part of the farmer diet, Inspite of the fact that maize can be planted in two seasons, Egypt is still importing a substantial amount of maize from abroad, A vertical increase in maize grain production in Egypt must, therefore, be persued. One way of doing this, is by using a balanced NPK fertilizer under a suitable water management system.
