Abstract
Two field experiments weye carried out in the experimental, farm Faculty of Agriculture, Tanta University Kafr El-Sheikh during the 1980 and 1981 seasons to conpase between mecharnical transplanting and local used methods for pice production They included study of effect of four methods of rice plating (broadcasting, farmer transplanting, recommended transplanthg and mechanical transplanting.
