Abstract
The aim of this work was to study flow-volume curve and diffusion coefficient using single breath technique in patients with emphysema and IPF. The work was conducted on 30 subjectswho were classified into 3 groups: group 1 control group 10 normal individuals, they were 5 males and 5 females. Group 2emphyseme group 10 patients suffering from emphysema. Group 3 interstitial pulmonary fibrosis group 10 patients suffering from interstitial pulmonary fibrosis.
