Abstract
We found t h a t C.N.S. was a logical region to apply t h e firtst C .T, scanning which is used in u vcsy wide extcni, in the head, neck and mediastinun. The patient should be prepered before C .T. scanning e .g . during ebdomincl. enhnncement and other cot need preparation du.rin~ C.T, examination of the skull and neck, The new contrast media applied with C.T, scanning are oral C.M, such as ga.strogra.fin for examination of the gastrointestinal t r a c t , intravenous C .Id. such as angiograf in f o r urography md intraspinal C .Iv?. ~7x11 as amipaque f o r visualization of’ s~;berachnnici space. Contrast enha.ncement is used when the di iTerence ’between C .T , numbers of normal ayld pathological t i s s u e s cannot beeasily determined.
