Abstract
In the present t h e s i s we aim at studying and evaluating t h e various l o c a l radioisotopes used in management and control of bladder neoplasia. The techniques of application of radioisotopes were also discussed. The benefit of radiotherapy is based on the r e l a t i v e l y g r e a t e r destructive e f f e c t of ionising ixradiaton on the malignancy than on healthy t i s s u e , Curative and p a l l i a t i v e radiotherapeutic techniques have been developed and applied over the years, dependent on the extent of t h e disease and f a c i l i t i e s available.
