Abstract
The original work carried out by the candidate and presented in this thesis has two-fold objectives. The first is to develop new eco-friendly starch derviatives for application in textile industry. The second is to shed insight on the technical feasibility of such derivatives in different textile domains with emphasis on the use of these derivatives as sizing agent, as flocculant and , as finishing of cotton -based textiles.
